Washington - The US President, Mr Bush, heard a sermon yesterday urging Americans to confront xenophobia after a week in which he discussed broad immigration reform with the Mexican President, Mr Vicente Fox.
Mr Bush attended service where Rev Luis Leon challenged his parishioners to consider what they could do to fight racial and economic disparities.
"Is there nothing worth fighting for here in the city of Washington for any of us? Are our schools so good that there is no way that we need to get involved?" Rev Leon asked the three dozen people at the service.
