The duration of morning bus journeys on the main routes in Dublin has been cut by up to 20 minutes thanks to Operation Freeflow, says Bus Atha Cliath.
The park-and-ride facilities at Simmonscourt and Whitehall have been used by an average of 250 cars a day, said Mr Alan Westwell, managing director of Bus Atha Cliath.
He said the new Malahide quality bus corridor made bus travel in the morning rush hour 30 per cent quicker on average than driving into the city by car.
