Ipswich boss George Burley has been named Carling Manager of the Year.
Burley has triumphed in the League Managers' Association's annual award after guiding his side to fifth place and a UEFA Cup berth in their first season since gaining promotion to the Premiership.
The 'Tractor Boys' were in the running for a Champions League berth until the final match of the season.
Burley succeeds last year's winner Sir Alex Ferguson, who missed out this time despite guiding Manchester United to their seventh Premiership title in nine years. PA
