The 58th East of Ireland bridge congress will take place in the Fairways Hotel, Dundalk, from June 2nd to 5th. Open pairs will be run at 7.30 p.m. on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and at 5.30 p.m. on Monday.
On Saturday the two-session mixed pairs will start at 2.15 p.m., and the intermediate B pairs at 7.30 p.m.
On Sunday (2 p.m.) both the major, and intermediate pairs will be decided over two sessions. On Monday the two-session teams will begin at noon, and the novice pairs at 5.30 p.m.

At the women's home international championship (Lady Milne Trophy), in Eastbourne, England, on June 2nd-4th, the Contract Bridge Association of Ireland will be represented by Pat MacMahon, Pat Ryan, Helen Carroll, Jill Kulchycky, Helen Holman, Carol McCarthy, and Terry Walsh (non-playing captain).
