The Republic of Ireland defeated hosts the United Arab Emirates 3-2 in their second game of the four nations under-20 tournament in Abu Dhabi today.
Bray Wanderers striker Eamonn Zayed was the star for Brian Kerr's side scoring twice after the home side had taken a fourth minute lead through Mohammed.
Zayed levelled the game after 13 minutes and then doubled his tally with the game's winning goal in the 66th minute.
The home side had gone ahead for the second time when Hammed scored in 53rd minute but just three minutes later John Fitzgerald of Blackburn Rovers equalised again for Ireland.
Ireland lost their opening game 2-1 to Korea on Monday and face France in their final game on Friday
