Bank of Scotland (Ireland) has announced changes to its mortgage variable rates which will affect a small number of customers from next month.
The institution said mortgage variable rates currently above 4.50 per cent gross will be reduced to 4.50 per cent gross from June 1st.
The bank said customers currently on a variable rate less than 4.50 per cent gross will not be affected by the rate change.
A spokeswoman for Bank of Scotland (Ireland) said "a very small number of customers" are affected by the change of rate.
