A technical fault that resulted in the Bank of Ireland's ATM machines going off line last night has been resolved.
According to a spokeswoman for the Bank of Ireland, the fault left ATMs nationwide unable to distribute cash in some cases, while in others, ATM services were drastically reduced.
However, any problems related to fault are now fully resolved and the Bank of Ireland does not expect the problem to reoccur.
"It was a small technical problem that happens very rarely," the spokeswoman said.
