MULHOUSE - The bodies of a Franco British couple who went missing last month after withdrawing 500,000 francs (£64,000) from a bank have been found in the trunk of an abandoned car, French police said yesterday.
Police said Alain and Angela Hay, both aged 46, were killed along with their poodle and left in the car, which was found on Saturday in a canal near Niffer in the north east French region of Alsace. They had withdrawn the money from their bank account in Le Havre on March 28th shortly before they disappeared.
