THE PROGRAMME for the Ulster Bank Dublin Theatre Festival announced yesterday features a number of productions that will not be in a theatre at all.
Of the 28 shows over 18 days from September 29th, nine will be site-specific.
Laundrywill take place at a former Magdalene laundry on Lower Seán MacDermott Street;
Trade, by Mark O'Halloran, will bring the public to a "rundown guest house"; and
The Lulu House, featuring singer Camille O'Sullivan (above), will take place at the James Joyce House at Usher's Island.

Testament, by Colm Tóibín, an adaptation of Hugo Hamilton's
The Speckled Peopleat the Gate and the Abbey's
Juno and the Paycock, starring Risteárd Cooper and Sinéad Cusack.
