LONDON - Mastermind, the BBC's cerebral quiz, will be censored for the first time in its 24 year history tonight when a contestant answers questions on The Sex Pistols, the foul mouthed punk stars fronted by Johnny Rotten and Sid Vicious.
A bleep will be used when the host Magnus Magnusson asks a question about the band's album, Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols.
The BBC said the bleep was being used as the programme will be broadcast before the 9 p.m. cut off point.
