Man U 2 Deportivo la Coruna 3
Two errors by goalkeeper Fabien Barthez helped Deportivo Coruna to a stunning 3-2 Champions League victory over Manchester United in a superb game at Old Trafford on Wednesday.
The French international's hesitation after 37 minutes enabled Sergio to cancel out Ruud van Nistelrooy's seventh minute opener and Diego Tristan was then left unmarked to head the Spanish league leaders 2-1 in front a minute later.
Van Nistelrooy levelled for United five minutes before the break with a brilliant chip but after an hour Barthez made another wild charge outside the penalty area only to completely miss the ball and leave Tristan to expertly clip it into the empty net.
Deportivo scored twice in the last four minutes to win the home game against United.
