The man accused of murdering British television presenter Jill Dando has been found guilty of shooting her down on the doorstep of her London home.

Barry George (41) had denied killing the popular 37-year-old TV personality, whose brutal murder in April 1999 caused shock and set off one of Britain's biggest manhunts.
Ms Dando was the high-profile co-presenter of BBC's Crimewatch UK programme.
The jury today returned a 10-1 majority verdict after one of the jurors was excused for personal reasons and the judge allowed a majority rather than a unanimous one.
