Craig Barlow posted 11 points yesterday to take the lead after the third round of the $4.5million PGA International.
Barlow had five birdies on the back nine, including three on the last three holes to overtake fellow American Steve Lowery, who trails by one point.
The tournament uses a modified Stableford scoring system. Players receive eight points for a double eagle, five for eagle, two for birdie, zero for par, minus-1 for bogey and minus-3 for double bogey or higher.
The starting field of 144 players was cut to 73 players at minus-2 or better after 36 holes with the winner to receive $810,000.
