In the latest violence, Israeli soldiers shot dead a Palestinian man in the Gaza Strip today.
Palestinian police sources said troops shot dead the 50-year-old man as he was driving near the Jewish settlement of Netzarim.
The Israeli army had no immediate comment.

The shooting brought the number of dead to 376 since the Palestinian uprising began in September.
At least 314 Palestinians, 49 Israelis and 13 Israeli Arabs have died in the fighting.
