Dhaka - Bangladeshi children who are forced to work to support themselves took to the streets of Dhaka yesterday to demand better working conditions.
Around 500 children aged between 10 and 15 took part in a rally and carried placards saying: "We are not caged birds - give us freedom," and "We want educational opportunity."
There are estimated to be around a million children under 16 working in Bangladesh, where child labour laws are virtually non-existent.
