A two-year-old girl has been killed in a house fire in Co Kerry this morning.
The baby's mother and a man were taken from the house at O'Sullivan Place in Killarney to hospital for treatment to minor injuries.
The fire was reported at 5.30 a.m. by neighbours who helped in the rescue. The baby is understood to have been sleeping in a rear bedroom.
A forensic examination of the house was carried out this afternoon.
