British Airways said it is increasing its fuel surcharge for long-haul flights by up to £6 sterling for tickets issued from February 25th, in response to continuing high oil prices.
The charge for long-haul flights of less than nine hours will increase by £5 per flight to £53, it said. For flights of more than nine hours, the charge will go up by £6 to £64.
The short-haul fuel surcharge is unchanged at £10 per flight, it said.
