Munster will play away to the winners of Toulouse and Northampton in the Heineken Cup semi-finals if they overcome holders Leicester in the quarter-finals.
"We are used to doing it the hard way," said Munster lock Paul O'Connell.
"To look beyond the quarter-finals is a bit ridiculous, but anything can happen," he said.
"Three years ago we went to Bordeaux to play a star studded Toulouse team and beat them - if your mental strength is there it's possible."

Leinster will have home advantage over Llanelli or Perpignan should they beat Biarritz in April.
The semi-final ties will be played over the weekend starting April 26th.
European Rugby Cup chief executive Derek McGrath defended the decision to hold the draw before the quarter-finals are played.
