Brazilian World Cup winner Gilberto Silva scored on his Arsenal debut to give last season's double winners a 1-0 win over Liverpool in the FA Community

Silva, a £4.5 million from Atletico Mineiro, came on as a half-time substitute and drilled a Dennis Bergkamp pass past Jerzy Dudek after 68 minutes.
Dudek had earlier pulled off a triple save from Thierry Henry and Bergkamp. He also diverted Henry's 47th-minute effort on to the upright.
