Armed raiders beat a man and tied up his wife and daughter during a robbery on a house in Co Meath early yesterday. The two men, who wore balaclavas and carried sawn-off shotguns, entered the house in
Harlockstown, near Ashbourne, about 3.30 a.m. They beat the man with the butt of their guns and threatened the family, but fled without getting money. Gardai say they are seeking two men in their 30s in connection with the incident.
