Gardaí attempting to locate a teenager missing from her home in Dublin for the last five days have appealed to the public for assistance.

Neidin Kearns (16), from Coolock, was last seen in the city centre on Tuesday at about 8am.

She is described as being 5 feet 5 inches (165cm) in height and of a slight build with brown eyes and black shoulder length hair.

Neidin may be wearing jeans, a black leather jacket, brown hiking boots and carrying a black and white Guess hand bag.

Gardaí believe she may have travelled to the Monaghan area.

Separately, gardaí in Whitehall are attempting to locate Paul Bunbury (19), who was last seen on the DCU campus on Thursday afternoon.

The 19-year-old is described as being 5 feet 10 inches tall and of a thin build with blue eyes, long black hair and a beard.

He was wearing a grey jacket, jeans and a blue t-shirt when last seen.
