The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr Andrews, leaves today for a four-day visit to the Balkans on behalf of the Council of Europe. He will visit Bosnia, Kosovo and Macedonia.
Mr Andrews is chairman of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, and his visit is intended to gather information on the progress made by Bosnia in implementing the Dayton Peace Agreement and meeting the criteria for joining the Council of Europe.
Besides meeting political leaders and officials, he will address a joint session of the Bosnian parliament.
