Telecom services group Alphyra announced this morning it has signed an agreement with British credit card services company Streamline Merchant Services.

Under the agreement, Alphyra - - formerly ITG - will market Streamline Merchants Services debit and credit card processing services to its network of 16,000 merchants, as well as other key merchants.

The agreement will allow Alphyra’s network of agents to avail of prepaid cellular and utility applications and use debit and credit card services through the terminal network.

Streamline handles over one in three of all card transactions in Britain and is the largest card payment acquiring business in Europe.
