Ahern's evidence rescheduled

The Taoiseach Bertie Ahern is now scheduled to give evidence to the Mahon tribunal in September

The Taoiseach Bertie Ahern is now scheduled to give evidence to the Mahon tribunal in September. He had been due to give evidence on Thursday and Friday of this week.

However, the tribunal yesterday confirmed that he would not now be giving evidence until the week beginning September 11th, at the earliest.

The Taoiseach's former partner Celia Larkin is to give evidence tomorrow.

Mr Ahern's former landlord, Manchester-based Michael Wall, who was to give evidence this week, will also not give evidence until September.
