Sportswear giant Adidas has bought 10 percent of Bayern Munich ahead of a stock market listing of the German champions, a German newspaper said today.
German tabloid Bildsaid the club's board and advisory committee had decided on Monday to list Bayern, and team sponsors adidas-Salomon were chosen as strategic partners with a share of 10 percent.
The newspaper suggested Adidas had paid about 150 million marks (approximately £47 million sterling) for the stake.
An adidas-Salomon spokesman declined to comment on the report.

A Bayern spokeswoman said the club would comment on the report on Monday because they wanted first to focus on the Champions League semi-final second leg against Real Madrid this evening.
