High Court proceedings brought by residents of Pembroke Road, Dublin, seeking to quash a Government decision to use a 50-bedroom guesthouse on the road as a reception centre for asylum-seekers were adjourned to May 8th next by Mr Justice Finnegan yesterday.
Last week the court gave Mr Paul Walsh SC, who is chairman of the Pembroke Road Association, leave to seek a judicial review of the Government decision to use 88/90/92 Pembroke Road as a reception centre for asylum-seekers.
Mr Justice Finnegan was told yesterday that the parties had agreed the matter be adjourned to May 8th when it would be "mentioned".
