At least 60 people, including women and children, have drowned when a boat packed with more than 170 passengers capsized in Bangladesh.
Officials said around 100 people swam to safety or were rescued by local villagers when the overcrowded boat sank after hitting a barge near the industrial town of Chatak in Sunamganj district, north-eastern Bangladesh.
Rescuers were searching for dozens of people still listed as missing.
The passengers were mainly labourers and their families.
