Moscow - Five policemen were killed and 14 wounded in two separate landmine blasts in Chechnya's capital Grozny, Russia's Interfax news agency reported yesterday.

Interfax said four policemen were killed and two wounded when their troop truck hit a home-made mine in Grozny's central Oktyabrsky district.

The second mine exploded at a crossroads in the same district, blowing up a bus carrying police. One policeman was killed and 12 others injured, Interfax said.
