Tampa - A gunman killed five people including four workers at a Radisson Hotel in a shooting rampage in Tampa, Florida yesterday. Chief Bennie Holder of Tampa Police said the man, an employee at the Radisson, shot and killed four co-workers and wounded three others before stealing a car and killing another person. The gunman was then arrested.

Police said the shooting rampage, the latest in a series of mass shootings in the US, began about mid-afternoon at the Radisson Bay Harbour on Courtney Campbell Causeway near Tampa Bay.

Four people were killed in the hotel, where shots were fired in the hotel lobby and the pool area. The man then commandeered a car and fled to a nearby restaurant parking lot, police said. The gunman shot and killed a woman in the parking lot and took another car but was quickly caught by police.
