Seoul - At least 23 kindergarten and primary school children were killed and six injured in a fire which swept through a summer camp in South Korea early today, local TV said.
The fire erupted at the camp at Hwasong in Kyonggi province 60 km south-west of Seoul. It was not clear from initial reports how the blaze broke out. But some reports speculated it may have been sparked by a small fire lit to burn a mosquito repellant coil.
