Two brothers elected trial by judge and jury at a special sitting of Tralee District Court yesterday on 10 charges alleging intended fraud.

Mr Denis Enright, of Knockardtry, Castleisland, Co Kerry, and Mr Patrick Enright, of Glenlarehan, Castleisland, are charged with, between January 1st and June 14th, 1994, forging documents purporting to be New York insurance company group held insurance claims in the name of Dr John Coyle for medical expenses incurred by named individuals. The total sum alleged to be involved is $36,050. The two have pleaded not guilty.

The case was adjourned by Judge Terence Finn to a special sitting of Tralee District Court on February 28th for the service of books of evidence.
