London - Buckingham Palace yesterday confirmed it was considering plans to allow hundreds of members of the public to attend this summer's royal wedding. People could be allowed to apply for prime positions within the grounds of Windsor Castle to see Prince Edward and his fiancee, Ms Sophie RhysJones, as they celebrate their big day at St George's Chapel on June 19th. Palace officials anticipate applications from at least 2,000 people eager to get a closer look at the event.
