Medway - More than 100 immigrants were found wandering around country lanes in an isolated area of England after they were apparently dumped by smugglers, police said last night. The 117 men, women and children - believed to be Kosovan Albanians - were discovered yesterday on the Isle of Grain, near the Medway towns in Kent.
A Home Office spokeswoman said they had told immigration officers they had travelled in the back of a lorry.
