Ten Scottish Premier League clubs officially handed in their resignations today.
The non Old Firm clubs intend leaving Scotland's top division in two years to create their own league.
The decision comes after the teams failed to reach an agreement with Celtic and Rangers over changes to the league's voting structure. The situation materialised despite all 12 clubs agreeing a new television deal with the BBC yesterday.
The 10 had wanted the Old Firm to scrap the existing 11-1 majority in favour of 8-4 but the Glasgow duo would not agree.

Differences between the Old Firm and the other clubs first emanated in April when Celtic and Glasgow withdrew their support for a proposed SPL television channel.
