IF YOU can’t travel abroad this summer, you could head for Dún Laoghaire, Co Dublin, at the end of the month when the world comes to us.
The Festival of World Cultures, taking place from July 23rd to 25th, explores the theme of journey, with a film festival called “Journeys Through Europe Beyond” showing films from Sheffield to Slovakia.
The festival, taking place earlier than usual this year, is a mix of music, dance, and art, at which 800 artists from 33 countries – from Europe, North America, Africa and Asia – will perform.
