Inspect the contents of the home of fashion designer-turned-antique dealer Ib Jorgensen, and others, at the de Veres interiors auction tomorrow at 2pm at the Berkeley Court Hotel, on Lansdowne Road, Dublin 4. Jorgensen’s pieces form part of a wide selection of styles from designer chairs and sofas, to antique side and card tables, silver porcelain and lots of affordable art, including vintage metal advertising signs.

There are several pieces of contemporary furniture by Molteni, Donghia, Ligne Roset and Poltrona Frau with low-sounding estimates. One of the must-sees is a pair of art deco armchairs by French designer George de Bardyere, which have an estimate of €8,000-€12,000. Viewing at the hotel today from 10am to 5pm. The catalogue is also online at deveres.ie.
