Forty of Ireland's best-known artists were challenged to come up with installations from the tackiest of tat bought in the discount shops that are now on every high street. The results go on display in Dublin's Talbot Gallery on Thursday. Among the works are photographs taken with a camera made from €2 binoculars, a bronze tomato ketchup dispenser and these scissors cast in jelly, above. The exhibits cost from €2 to €200.
