VOLVO HAS reduced the prices of many of its models, including the C30, S80, V70 and XC90. Savings range from €2,240 on the price of the 1.6-litre C30 to €11,000 on the XC90 D5 AWD 7-Seater, writes PADDY COMYN

There is also a new three-year, 100,000km manufacturer’s warranty and a free SE or R-Design upgrade worth up to €4,000 for customers who purchase the models for January delivery before 31st December.

The Volvo range now starts at €23,820 for the C30 1.6-litre petrol model, which has seen a €2,240 price reduction.

The S80 now starts at €34,500 and features a new 1.6-litre diesel engine, while the V70 Estate model with the same engine starts at €37,220. The largest saving is the €11,000 off the price of the XC90 7-Seater SUV, which now starts at under €59,000.

All Volvo buyers will be offered a free specification upgrade if they order their car before December 31st on the other models within the range, such as S40, V50 and XC60.
