Routes to avoid around the country
DUBLIN:
Northbound carriageway from Collins Avenue to Coolock Interchange closed, 7am until 7pm, for Dublin Port Tunnel Works. Delays likely through Santry Village and Shantalla Road and Beaumont Road, and on N32 and Malahide Road.
Spawell roundabout on N81 temporarily closed for repair works on the following days:
Friday, November 4th, 8pm to Monday, November 7th at 6am; Friday, November 11th, 8pm to Monday, November 14th at 6am; Friday, November 18th, 8pm to Monday, November 21st at 6am.
Alternative routes: Firhouse Road, Old Bridge Road, Templeogue Road, Cypress Grove Road, Templeville Road, Wellington Road, Wellington Lane.
Ferndale Road, Shankill closed between junctions of Thornhill Rd and Rathmichael Rd. Alternative route via Old Connaught Avenue, Dublin Road, Crinken Lane and Ballybride Road and vice versa. Diversions signposted. Access via Lordello Road.
From 11am, Friday November 4th until 6pm Monday November 7th, Peamount Rd closed between Loughtown Rd and Newcastle Village junctions, for emergency drainage works on Peamount Road.
WICKLOW:
Work on new watermain on L4317 from Merginstown Crossroads to Donard village. Traffic lights on section of watermain being laid each day, single lane traffic.
MEATH:
Works on N2 north of Ashbourne, part of national roadworks programme. Delays expected, allow additional time for journeys, use alternative routes.
KILDARE:
Closure of Castlewarden North Junction with N7 Dublin bound extended until Sunday November 6th for N7 Naas Road Widening and Interchanges Scheme. Alternative route via Ardclough Road (L6021) junction with N7.
CORK :
L27891/0 at Nash's Boreen, Knocknaheeny closed for a drainage dig for future developments. Alternative route is signposted.
Shandon Street closed inbound from Cathedral Road to Church Street for Shandon Street Urban Renewal Scheme.
GALWAY:
Works on N18, between Gort and Crusheen Delays likely.
KERRY:
Roadworks on N22 from Ballycarthy Roundabout to Beallagrellagh, Tralee. Traffic restrictions, use alternative routes.
Works on N86 at Blennerville Village, Tralee from Station House Restaurant & Bar to centre of village. Use alternative routes.
LIMERICK:
Resurfacing on Dublin Road (R445) from junction with Pennywell Road to junction with Parkway Roundabout. Diversions in place, traffic in-bound to the city will be directed on to Childers Road and Tipperary Road and out-bound traffic from city will continue to use Dublin Road.
Roadworks on Courtbrack Avenue and O'Connell Avenue. Delays expected from 4pm to 6pm.
TIPPERARY:
Resurfacing on N52 (Borrisokane/Birr road) at Carrig, Birr.
