DUBLIN: new junction layout works at the Longmile Road / Naas Road junction. Expect delays. New traffic signals in place at new junction. Inbound motorists wishing to turn right onto the Longmile Road should bear left and use the two new circulatory or roundabout-type lanes at the left of the junction.

Roadworks on Enniskerry Road between the Blue Church and Ambrose Glass between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. A contra-flow system will be in place. There are roadworks on the N2 at Wards Cross between Ashbourne and Finglas until approximately mid-March, weekdays between 9.30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Temporary traffic lights will be in place.

New one-way system in place in Lucan village from the Italian Embassy on Main Street to junction with Lower Lucan Road. Traffic diverted from Lucan Village towards Liffey Bridge.

Re-alignment works on Greenhills Road between Airton Road and the Old Tallaght Road. Temporary traffic lights and single lane restrictions in place, the works under way 9 a.m. and 5 p.m, Monday to Saturday until approximately October.

There is a diversion on the Balbriggan Bypass at Walshstown exit. Southbound traffic divert from southbound overtaking lane 500m north of the Walshtown interchange. Northbound traffic should follow diversion route to rejoin the Ballbriggan Bypass, 150m north of Walshtown overbridge.

LIMERICK: restrictions on Roxborough Road from 9.30 a.m. until 4.30 p.m. between Cary's Road junction and the Roxborough Garda Station. The works will be there for a number of weeks with a stop/go system.

Traffic restrictions on Kilmallock Road between 9.30 a.m. and 4 p.m. with a stop/go system between the Killmallock Road and St Enda's.

CORK: a new one-way system on Patrick's Street for drainage works. Northbound buses from Merchants Quay, and no entry to Patrick St from Grand Parade. Access from Grand Parade to Daunt Square and Cornmarket Street, while traffic from Saint Peter and Paul's Place and Academy Street to turn right. Drawbridge Street is operating as a cul-de-sac from its junction with Perry Street and William Street is also operating as a cul-de-sac: there is no access to Patrick's Street from Williams Street. Traffic diverted onto Lavitt's Quay via Perry Street. Bowling Green is open for delivery purposes only. Only northbound traffic is being permitted to use Faulkners Lane, with the exception of deliveries and taxis.

Resurfacing works continue on Main Street, Macroom until tomorrow. These are overnight works and they shouldn't cause any delays.

HORSE RACES: meeting today at Limerick between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., and tomorrow at Clonmel, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Over the weekend races in both Naas and Fairyhouse.Fairyhouse on Saturday, with the first race at 2.15 p.m. and the last at 5.15 p.m.; while Naas on Sunday is between 2.20 p.m. and 5.20 p.m.

For both meetings Bus Éireann has special bus services from Dublin. Buses depart 90 minutes before the start of the meetings and return immediately the meetings finishes.
