DUBLIN: A one-way system in Lucan village until mid-March has caused some delays around the Strawberry Beds area. Traffic from Blanchardstown must detour up Taylor's Hill.

Demolition works are under way at the centre of Tallaght, at junction of Greenhills Road and Old Tallaght Road, between 9am and 5pm until about March 7th.

Re-alignment works on the Greenhills Road between Airton Road and the Old Tallaght Road will start on Monday, February 10th. Expect delays. Temporary traffic lights and single lane restrictions between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. from Monday to Saturday until October. The Greenhills Road will be extended to meet the junction of the Tallaght Bypass.

Until next Monday, overnight works and temporary lights on Blackglen Road between junctions of Ballinteer Road and Sandyford Road in the Lambe Doyle area between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. each day, with single lane traffic.

The partial closure of the Embankment Road/Belgard Road junction in Tallaght is now complete. But to continue Luas works, weekend closures at the junction of Belgard Road/Embankment Road, will include the next weekend and the following weekend, from 10 p.m. on Fridays until 6 a.m. on Mondays.

No through traffic on Belgard Road junction or on the Embankment Road at this junction. Local traffic on Belgard Road can divert via Cookstown Estate Road, Old Belgard Road, Cookstown Road (to the Belgard Road).

Traffic for the M50 should go via the Naas Road (N7) or the Tallaght Bypass (N81).

Closure of Dunville Avenue and Beechwood Road in Ranelagh extended until approximately this Friday for Luas works.

Traffic on the Alfie Byrne Road switched to a new stretch of temporary road near the entrance to the East Point Business Park.

Off the Rails Live will be at the RDS from tomorrow until next Sunday, each day at noon, 3.00 p.m. and 6.30 p.m. It will feature fashion shows throughout the weekend, so there will be extra traffic around the RDS, on the Merrion Road, Ballsbridge.

WATERFORD: Since November two lanes of inbound traffic from Sallypark can turn right on to Rice Bridge. Care is needed in the area as it has been causing some confusion recently.

LIMERICK: The Cottle and Austin Circus will be at the New Racecourse in Limerick until next Sunday in Greenmount Park in Patrickswell.

Two traffic lanes are now open on the Dublin Road between Groody Bridge & Plassey Road.Temporary diversion in place around Groody Bridge. Minor works (on footpaths and central islands) at Groody Bridge will continue in the area but no major delays expected.

Canal Bridge Road between Hymies Boreen and the Canal Bridge closed to traffic until March 1st: business and residential access allowed. This affects residents of Lower Park, Corbally and Rhebogue.

Since late 2002, Limerick-bound traffic coming from Shannon is being directed on to Ballycasey roundabout to the N18. Traffic is being directed to new link road to join the N18 at the new Bunratty interchange. This is to alleviate queuing at peak times at Ballycasey. It's no longer possible to exit for Limerick from the Old Concrete Road.
