Peugeot has confirmed that it will make the RC-Z coupé that made its debut in concept form at Frankfurt Motor Show last year.
Production will begin in 2010, but the new car will go on display at the 2009 Frankfurt show. The decision to build the RC-Z is a significant landmark for the French marque.
The firm – and parent company PSA Peugeot Citroën – has announced plans for a new family of 1-litre three-cylinder petrol engines, with power ranging from 70bhp to 100bhp, and emitting less than 100 g/km of CO2.
