A roundup of this week's motoring news
New Audi A6 follows aluminium trend
This is Audi’s new A6, caught testing on the open roads in Germany ahead of its official debut in the spring of next year.
The new A6 shares many of its underpinnings with the new A7, due for launch here in November.
As is the current trend with Audi, the new car will make significant use of aluminium to reduce weight and thereby improve fuel economy and emissions.
Along with this, the new A6 is expected to feature Audi’s new electric power steering system, another fuel-saving feature on offer in the A7.
