Honda DN-01 hits Japan: Originally shown as a concept at the Tokyo Motor Show, the Honda's peculiar DN-01 will go on sale powered by a rubber-mounted, liquid- cooled, 60hp four-stroke 680cc V-twin which is mated to a new stepless automatic transmission.
In Japan, the DN-01 retails for 1,239,000 yen, which is about €7,800. When the DN-01 arrives in Ireland it's more likely to cost around €14,000.
Stoner wins in Qatar victory
Reigning Moto GP World Champion Casey Stoner (Ducati Marlboro) successfully defended his title with a win in Qatar on Sunday night. Stoner is the first rider to win a night-time race. The Australian champion crossed the line more than five seconds ahead of pole position holder Jorge Lorenzo (Fiat Yamaha).
Sbarro unveils four wheeler
Swiss designer Franco Sbarro has unveiled a new four-wheeled concept bike called the Pendolauto. The four-wheel machine uses independent front and rear suspension to lean into corners. The Pendolauto will never make production but with Yamaha's recent Tesseract concept, could indicate that companies are considering a move to three- and four-wheel designs.
