Great racing at Mondello
The first ever Mondello Masters series is building towards an exciting climax as Ireland's top motorcycle racers get ready to compete for the biggest cash prize of the year.
This weekend sees the finale of the three-race series, attracting the biggest entry of star names yet. The reason for the extra interest is a doubling of the prize fund for the Masters race which will take place on Sunday alongside the penultimate round of the 2008 Irish Superbike Championship.

Kawasaki's range for 2009
Kawasaki has unveiled its new 2009 motorcycles. Among the range is the lighter and more powerful Ninja ZX-6R, a ER6-f and ER6-n, three different versions of the new VN1700 cruiser, and an enduro-style KLX250. Similar in design to the ZX-10R, the new Ninja is now 20 pounds leaner.
It has a lighter, revised new 599cc four-stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine. The new exhaust collector layout contributes to improved low and mid-range performance while maintaining high-rpm performance.
It has more precise throttle control, a lightweight chassis, and the suspension is improved, and the 220mm rear petal disc brake is 10mm larger. The rear brake lever is mounted coaxially with the foot peg for increased mid-stroke braking efficiency. There's also a fairing for better protection from the wind.
