Honda to unveil new V4 tourer
HONDA IS preparing to unveil the first of its new generation V4 sports tourers.
According to MCN magazine, the V4 should be a 1,200cc model close to the concept revealed last autumn.
The new V4FR1200 won’t have the hubless wheels and frameless look of the concept, but will retain its variable-cylinder engine which “should dramatically boost fuel economy and emissions performance”, says MCN.
It is expected in 2010.
Skerries 100 road race begins
THE AON Bikecare Skerries 100 road race kicks off this weekend with the classic bike run on Thursday.
The Loughshinny Motor Cycle Supporters Club has also organised an exhibition of the race’s history at the Skerries Mill visitors centre where a 1937 Matchless in “showroom” condition will be on show.
Martin Finnegan’s loyal supporters have also organised a free exhibition of his memorabilia at Ardgillan Castle in Balbriggan until September 15th.
