Bord says yes to D8 schemeAn Bord Pleanála has approved an apartment scheme on the site of a garage in Inchicore village, D8 despite opposition.
The Camac Partnership will demolish National Autoparts O'Byrne Ltd on Camac Close for shops and four live/work units in three to seven-storey blocks. The scheme was approved despite three appeals by locals including Catherine Byrne TD, who said it would have a negative impact on nearby homes through overlooking.
On August 21st we had a planning storey which erroneously said that An Bord Pleanála had ruled against a scheme of townhouses proposed by developer Wesley Curran instead of a previously approved leisure facility at Mackey,s Garden Centre, Castlepark Road, Dalkey, Co Dublin.
In fact, the scheme was refused planning permission by Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council.
