Fifteen two-bedroom townhouses go on sale today at Finn Ebber Square, Finglas, Dublin 11. Priced from £138,500 to £149,500, the homes are aimed at the first-time buyer market, according to selling agent Hooke & MacDonald. The scheme is very accessible for commuters with a frequent bus service to the city centre.
Finn Ebber Square is located off Finglas Road, between Glasnevin and Finglas villages and next door to Erin's Isle GAA club. The houses for sale are part of a two-storey scheme of six two-bedroom apartments and 26 two-bed townhouses being built by Infield Developments. The first 15 townhouses are nearing completion and will be ready to move into at close of sale. Completion for most remaining units is set for July to September next.
Finn Ebber Square is laid out in a courtyard format, with a landscaped garden area to the centre. Most units will have a sunny orientation. Townhouses are half-brick to the front and visually softened by a tiled overhang at ground floor level. The front door opens into a small hallway with the kitchen off to one side. There is space here for informal dining. A large sitting/diningroom spans the length of the house from front to back, and the staircase is off to the right in the far corner. Upstairs, the two bedrooms are both doubles and have fitted wardrobes. The bathroom is also at this level. Features of the townhouses include a free gas hob in the kitchen, moulded skirting and architraves and paint finish on interior walls. Open spaces bounding Farnham Drive and at the centre of the development will be landscaped and there will be parking outside each unit. Showhouses are on view today and tomorrow from noon to 3 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 2.30 to 5 p.m.
