At this time of year, with so much property on the market, house viewings tend to fall off and estate agents consider themselves lucky to get a dozen viewers through a house at a time. Not so Willie Clarke, of Clarke Auctioneers, who is handling the sale of Rockfield Cottage, a two-bedroom seaside house overlooking Jack's Hole beach, at Brittas Bay. So far, he says, more than 1,000 people have viewed the property and there is still a week to go to the auction taking in the crucial Bank Holiday weekend for a last crushing view.
