With estate agents all over the country scrambling to get on to the World Wide Web, and the larger firms now offering sophisticated websites chock-full of information, help may be at hand for smaller players bemused by the whole idea. A new Irish-developed Internet product from IFG, called - what else - Virtual Estate Agent, will enable estate agents to set up a website quickly for something under £2,000. Of course, setting up a site is easy. Maintaining it is the hard part, and while the larger agencies can employ teams of people to update their sites, the sole practitioner cannot. IFG says that the Virtual Estate Agent can be managed by someone with little or no computer experience. More details can be had from www.ifgtechnology.com
